Dr Maria Montessori (1870-1952) was a great pioneer in studying the intellectual and social development of young children. Her methods of teaching are well established and used by many educationalists worldwide.

The Montessori approach advocates physical, intellectual, social freedom and a respect for the environment. This allows the child to develop naturally and retain their individuality.

The prepared environment is the school. It is your child's environment. Everything is geared for the child. All the furniture is the right size, tables, chairs, shelves, so that your child has total freedom to work and explore, thereby gaining independence as well as learning to respect everything around them.

Our aim is to give each child a happy, safe and calm environment, helping him/ her develop physically, emotionally at his/ her own pace. We welcome children from all backgrounds, faith and cultures.
